Longhorn Rangers is a leadership/adventure program designed for our 10th grade boy campers. The Rangers travel by bus to Colorado and New Mexico. Along the way they camp, fish, rock climb and work in some whitewater rafting.
Experience is the best teacher
They visit many interesting places and learn valuable leadership skills that prepare them to be a Longhorn counselor. These young men are taught and mentored by experienced camp staff members.
2 Weeks Travel, 1 Week Camp
The trip begins the first half of the camp term. Rangers arrive back during the last week of camp and practice their leadership skills through the teaching of activities and as cabin counselors in training.
